Constance Can
The images for Constance Can were painted using Sennelier watercolors on cold press paper. To achieve the grainy texture, the artist used Himalayan pink salt to absorb water from the surface of the paper.
She painted the characters and most of the flowers and plants separately from the backgrounds. Once all the visual elements were created, she scanned and imported them into PhotoShop where she assembled them into collages illustrating each spread.
